Meet Miss Longster
Teacher

Hello! My name is Miss Longster, and I have been teaching at Belfield for 21 years and love being part of this special community. I have mainly taught in Key Stage 2, but I am very excited to be working in Year 2 for the first time this year, alongside Miss Lees. My favourite subject is Science because I like discovering how things work and learning new things. Outside of school, I like to go to the theatre with my friends and family. I absolutely love the atmosphere, costumes and music, and my favourite show is ‘The Lion King’. I also enjoy going on adventures to different places and countries to learn new things. My favourite activity when travelling is snorkelling, as I love discovering the amazing underwater world and seeing beautiful marine life. Travelling gives me the opportunity to learn about the world and to make wonderful memories, which is something I love sharing with the children in the classroom too.
 

Superheroes Day

Class 5 had a fantastic time celebrating Superhero Day, dressing up as their favourite superheroes! They also remembered some of our school’s learning powers: Concentrate, Be Co-operative, Perseverance Power and Have-a-Go Hero. Just like real superheroes, our children know that these powers help them overcome challenges, work together and keep trying their best!
